History

SoftNext was set up in 2017 by the Baelen Group, an independent, family-owned group.

The Baelen Group is an independent, family-run business specialising in the acquisition of successful SMEs and mid-sized companies, founded in 2003 under the leadership of Pierre Baelen.

The Group has progressively established nine areas of activity by acquiring more than fifty companies, including the software sector under the name SoftNext.

SoftNext's growth strategy is based on external acquisitions. 

SoftNext focuses on tech and software companies, as well as mobile applications. SoftNext operates as a platform for its subsidiaries and offers each company support in their growth strategy.

All the subsidiaries offer software in the healthcare, tourism, retail, telecoms, construction and digital services sectors, as well as ERPs and Ios and Android mobile applications.
