In this critical role, you will collaborate with one or more of our SoftNext subsidiaries, focusing on the development of secure and reliable software.

Your main tasks

  • Design, develop and maintain complex software applications using a variety of programming languages and technologies.
  • Collaborate with the development team, project managers, and stakeholders to understand needs, define technical specifications, and propose innovative solutions.
  • Participate in the entire software development lifecycle from design to production, testing and deployment.
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of development practices, optimization of application performance, and assurance of code quality.

Desired profile

  • Degree in computer science or related field.
  • At least 4-5 years of experience in software development, with a strong understanding of programming principles and best practices.
  • Fluency in technical English.
Soft skills
  • Analytical and problem-solving skills: Ability to understand complex problems and design effective, innovative solutions.
  • Agile project management and methodologies: Experience with agile development methodologies (such as Scrum and Kanban), able to work in an environment that values fast iteration, flexibility, and collaboration.
  • Teamwork: Ability to collaborate effectively within a development team, with project managers, UX/UI designers, and other stakeholders.
  • Autonomy and initiative: Ability to work independently, take initiatives, and propose ideas for improving processes or products.
  • Communication: Excellent communication skills, both written and oral, to discuss technical specifications, explain design choices, and collaborate with non-technicians.
  • Continuous learning: A commitment to continuous learning and adaptation, with an interest in staying up-to-date on the latest development technologies and practices.

Stacks Techniques

  • Programming languages: Proficiency in several programming languages such as Java, C#, Python, and JavaScript. Knowledge of frameworks specific to these languages (such as Spring for Java, .NET for C#, Django or Flask for Python, and React or Angular for JavaScript) is also valued.
  • Front-end and back-end development: Experience in front-end (HTML, CSS, JavaScript, front-end frameworks) and back-end (API design, business logic management), with an understanding of best practices for each domain.
  • Databases: Skills in handling relational (such as PostgreSQL, MySQL) and non-relational (such as MongoDB) databases, with a good understanding of data modeling concepts and optimized queries.
  • DevOps and CI/CD: Knowledge of DevOps principles, including continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD), use of tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI, or GitHub Actions, and familiarity with containers (Docker, Kubernetes).
  • Software Security: Awareness of the importance of security in software development, with experience in applying best practices for securing applications and data.
  • Cloud Computing: Experience with cloud computing services (such as AWS, Azure, Google Cloud Platform), including application deployment and management in the cloud environment.
