Sponsorship

Convinced that a company’s commitment is also measured by its contribution to the common good, SoftNext and all its subsidiaries pursue a corporate philanthropy policy built on strong convictions:

  • to give every child, regardless of their background, access to a fulfilling education;
  • to preserve the natural ecosystems on which our shared future depends;
  • and to reach out to the most vulnerable communities, both here and abroad.

These commitments are no coincidence: they reflect a shared conviction that growing up, learning and developing must remain rights enjoyed by all. It is in this spirit, in keeping with our mission statement ‘GROWING TOGETHER’, that we have chosen to provide long-term support to three organisations, each of whose work exemplifies one of these priorities.

Spotlight on the Gerbert d’Aurillac Primary School: a community-run, Montessori and bilingual school

About the school

The Gerbert d’Aurillac Primary School opened its doors in September 2021. It is a community-run, Montessori and bilingual primary school. It is situated in a fully renovated house with a garden and a vegetable patch in Boulogne-Billancourt. It offers workshops in art, music and gardening, as well as an introduction to faith for those who wish to take part, and is part of a comprehensive approach to environmental education and sustainable development.

Thanks to a fee structure based on household income, it enables a wide range of families to benefit from a high-quality education based on a method now recognised for fostering independence, self-confidence and respect for others.

The companies within the Dellen Group support this project through sponsorship, in line with their mission statement ‘GRANDIR ENSEMBLE’.

Spotlight on the Green Sanctuaries organisation

Introduction to Green Sanctuaries

Green Sanctuaries works to ensure the long-term protection of the world’s exceptional forests, so that they can be passed on to future generations. With the support of its scientific committee, Green Sanctuaries identifies highly biodiverse forests that are under direct threat, and secures them by purchasing them or entering into long-term leases.

These forests are then monitored, studied by local and international scientists, and opened up to children to inspire a sense of wonder. Finally, Green Sanctuaries promotes models of coexistence between people and forests, by supporting local indigenous communities and guiding other neighbouring communities towards ways of living that are more respectful of nature.

Dellen and all its companies play an active role in supporting Green Sanctuaries.

Spotlight on World Vision

About World Vision

World Vision France is a non-governmental organisation (NGO) working to protect and promote the wellbeing of vulnerable children around the world. As part of the international World Vision network, which operates in nearly 100 countries, it is active in both humanitarian emergencies and long-term development projects, through child sponsorship. The organisation is committed to sustainable transformation, in line with the United Nations’ Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), and plays a key role in combating inequality and promoting children’s rights on a global scale. World Vision France’s approach is based on a holistic vision, taking into account not only children’s basic needs but also the social and economic dynamics of local communities.

Extreme climate events are becoming increasingly frequent and have dramatic consequences for the lives of the poorest. Land degradation is one of the most urgent environmental problems. It is both a symptom and a cause of climate change, and it deepens the poverty of the most vulnerable communities.

World Vision works actively to bring invisible forests back to life by deploying a method as simple as it is effective: Farmer Managed Natural Regeneration (FMNR). FMNR regenerates entire forests at an accelerated pace. It involves regrowing trees from stumps that still have a living root system, through careful pruning and rigorous protection. Combined with other land-restoration techniques, it is far more effective than planting trees and works in the harshest climates on the planet. FMNR helps fight desertification and famine. This simple method makes it possible to reforest without planting a single tree.

Dellen and all of its companies actively support World Vision France, and in particular the fight against climate change through the FMNR method.
